Induced birefringence analysis in an all-fiber device based on photonic crystal fiber with integrated electrodes

Abstract

We present an analysis of induced birefringence in a photonic crystal fiber with integrated electrodes. We found that the fiber birefringence axes rotated with temperature, which causes the effective refractive index varies nonlinearly.
