Highly Linear Electro-optic Modulator Based on Ring Resonator

Abstract

The ring resonator modulator linearity is analyzed and modeled in terms of the design parameters; results show that appropriately design and configuration of the device enables a high spurious free dynamic range on an optical link (~126dB.Hz4/5).
