Light-Induced Atomic Desorption of Rb atoms from Nano-Structured Alumina

Abstract

We present an experimental study of light-induced atomic desorption (LIAD) of Rb atoms from porous alumina. The well defined geometry of the nano-structured alumina allows a description of the LIAD process at the microscopic level.
