Power law on the kinetic energy spectrum of a turbulent atomic superftuid

Abstract

We report the observation of a scaling power law existing in the kinetic energy spectrum of an expanding turbulent BEC, analogous to the Kolmogorov “5/3” power law for classical turbulent fluids.
