Abstract

In this paper we study wave propagation in a second order approximation of canonical systems of Lohmann type I and type II, using the modified fractional Fourier transform (FRFTM), which is a mathematical tool that could study the phenomena of diffraction at different optical systems in a second order approximation. A numerical simulation is performed and compared with results obtained under the fractional Fourier transform of the first order.
