Atheroma optical imaging using europium Chlortetracycline complex fluorescent probe

Abstract

The analyses of the arteries of rabbits subjected to high-cholesterol diets were performed by fluorescence microscopy. The images were obtained by using the complex Europium Chlortetracycline as fluorescent probe, following the development of the hypercholesterolemia framework.
