Stochastic noise amplification in noninstantaneous Kerr media

Abstract

Considering noninstantaneous Kerr nonlinearity, the propagation of a partially coherent optical beam are theorically investigated by using extensions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) and a phase-diffusion model.
