Abstract

Frequency upconversion photoluminescence was investigated in Tb3+:Y2SiO5 powders when excited by ultrashort laser pulses at 1800 and 2000 nm. Four- and five-photons absorption processes were the origin of the anti-Stokes green-orange photoluminescence observed.
