Implementation and Automation of a Kerr Magnetometer for Magneto-Optical Characterization of Thin Films

Abstract

we report the implementation and automation of a Kerr magnetometer for use in the magneto-optical characterization of magnetic films. We used instrumentation programmable through the IEEE488 bus looking for obtaining efficient and low noise measurements.
