Two methods to measure the refractive index by using the Fresnel coefficients.

Abstract

Inverse functions to measure quantitatively the refractive index using the Fresnel coefficients on planar interfaces isotropic-isotropic media are provided. Alternatively, we propose a simple method considering an expansion in Taylors series of the Fresnel coefficients.
