Core/Shell Nanofiber Characterization by Raman Scanning Microscopy

Abstract

Synthetic polymeric fiber scaffolds are used in tissue engineering applications to promote the formation of functional tissue. We applied Raman spectroscopic mapping to analyze the chemical structure of such fibers for their core/shell structure characterization.
