Fiber Coupled Optically Tunable Polymer/Glass Microring Resonators

Abstract

Polymer/glass microring resonators were fabricated coating cylindrical glass elements with different polymer doped materials and coupled to a tapered fiber. Resonance wavelengths are optically tuned with an external 975 nm laser signal.
