Abstract
Ferrites are materials commonly used for the fabrication of radio frequency and microwave electronic devices. Theoretical models predict that ferrites will also be useful for the fabrication of THz frequency electronic devices. Nevertheless, there is a lack of information about their electrical properties at THz frequencies. In this paper we present the optical constants, the complex permittivity and the loss tangent of three different compositions of Manganese Cobalt ferrite in the relevant frequency range from 0.2 THz to 0.9 THz.
