Determining the Temperature Performance of Encoded Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors

Abstract

In this paper, experimental parameter determination was performed in order to define the feasibility to use encoded FBG as reliable temperature sensors, determining that each sub-band forming the encrypting code maintains the integrity of the spectra for a useful operation range of 0ºC to 60ºC.
