Fiber Nonlinearity Mitigation in Coherent DWDM Systems

Abstract

We analyze various fiber nonlinearity mitigation techniques in electrical and optical domains. We show that optical compensation techniques could be valuable tools to complement efforts of digital back propagation and reduce its computational complexity.
