Abstract

In this presentation, graphene-gold metasurfaces to enhance light-graphene interaction in the MIR region will be presented and additionally, I will demonstrate a new class of electrically controlled active metadevices working in microwave frequencies. The simulation and experiment results show that electrical gating of graphene allows actively tuning the resonance wavelength. Resonance wavelength strongly depends on the permittivity of the particle as well as its surrounding medium.
