Multiple-Input All-Optical OR Gate by Cascaded Logic Gates Based on Quantum-Dot Semiconductor Optical Amplifier

Abstract

We realize a multiple-input all-optical OR gate by cascading logic gates based on quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifier (QD-SOA). We demonstrate that it can be implemented by three QD-SOAs.
