A Sneak Peek into Opaque Materials with Light

Abstract

Opaque materials, where light is multiply scattered, remain a major challenge for optics. I will discuss how wavefront shaping - the ability to control the incident light- has deeply changed this view and holds tremendous prospects for biological imaging, as well as for sensing and for fundamental investigations.
