On the Implementation of High-order H(curl;Ω)-conforming Approximation Spaces for Full-Wave Waveguide Analysis

Abstract

In the context of photonic waveguides, a high-order Finite Element Method (FEM) scheme using H(curl;Ω) and H1(Ω)-conforming elements for modal analysis is presented, and the conditions for high order convergence are discussed.
