Innovative Methodology in Digital Image Analysis to Erythrocyte Morphology Identification

Abstract

An innovative methodology to identification of erythrocyte morphologies was developed using shape descriptors and noise elimination by Wavelet Transform for digital images analysis from conventional microscopy. This method is useful for automatizing erythrocyte morphology recognition.
