Abstract

A very common descriptor for the quantitative characterization of the human visual function, is the Visual Acuity (VA). Although it seems to be representative for the assessment of the effect of -at least- the low order aberrations, it falls short to precisely detect effects of another very common reason of visual deterioration, the effects of -Intraocular- Scattering.
