Thermo-Optical Characterization of Natural Fluorescent Dyes for Potential of Hydrogen Indicators

Abstract

The natural dyes were extracted at different potential hydrogen (pH) values. The spectroscopy and fluorescence quantum yield were determined for annatto and anthocyanin. These solutions were evaluated as a possible pH indicator for adulterated milk.
