Abstract

Hybrid organic-inorganic polyurethane films based on Castor Oil (CO) was made and characterized by FTIR-ATR, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy, showing blue luminescence.

The present work is an initial investigation of the application of the films in the photonics field.
