Feasibility of using smartphone images for oral cancer diagnosis purposes

Abstract

This study focused on building a low-cost portable microscope using a smartphone camera, which was applied to dry saliva-based oral cancer diagnostics, and could correctly diagnose 73% of the samples that a conventional microscope did.
