Analysis of a Direct Detection All-Optical OFDM System Designed for Hybrid PON

Abstract

Analysis of amplitude and phase modulation formats of OOK, optical PAM4, DPSK and DQPSK for direct-detection all-optical OFDM PON architecture. Transmission capacity of 1.2 Tbps over 90 km of SSMF was achieved with 128 carriers optical flat comb.
