On the optical extinction coefficient of 2D materials: disorder, long-range and energy harvesting applications

Abstract

Dispersions of 2D materials were produced by liquid phase exfoliation. Spectral differences are attributed to an increased presence of functional groups, the optical extinction coefficient and band-gap. This methodology allows integration in actuator and piezoelectric devices.
