Abstract

Temperature control is a crucial parameter that can be achieved with the use of nanoplasmonic structures. With this purpose, gold nanoparticles has been widely explored to improve the effectiveness of applications where photothermal conversion is required. In this work, we optimize gold nanospheres and nanorods for plasmon-mediated heat generation.
