A Study on Refractive index sensor based on polished plastic optical fiber

Abstract

This work presents a theoretical and experimental study based on a polished plastic optical fiber sensor. The sensor sensitivity was 1363 %/RIU in a range of 1.33 to 1.38, showing a correlation with the theoretical analysis.
