Effects of duty ratio on microwave-enhanced laser ignition

Abstract

Effects of the variation of microwave duty ratio on minimum laser ignition energy was investigated in microwave-enhanced laser ignition of methane/air mixture. A reduction of incident energy required for the laser ignition was achieved in microwave input energy with duty ratio.
