Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) for Biomedical Imaging

Abstract

We have achieved video rate CARS imaging of live animals with vibrational contrast. We demonstrate this important biomedical application of CARS microscopy by showing real-time chemical characterization of skin tissue of a live mouse.
