Classical and Quantum Information Processing Using EIT

Abstract

We review our progress towards the observation of weak quantum optical nonlinearities in condensed matter systems. In particular, we discuss results of spectroscopic experiments conducted using nitrogen-vacancy color centers in diamond, and erbium-doped endohedral fullerenes.
