Dynamics of a BEC colliding with a time-dependent dipole barrier

Abstract

We report on the progress of experiments to study the interaction of a BEC with a dipole barrier. Goals include observation of transitory enhancement of high momentum components and realization of a SPIDER-like tomographical technique.
