Generation of narrowband twin beams for atomic manipulation

Abstract

We have demonstrated 3dB relative intensity squeezing from a non-degenerate four-wave mixing scheme in hot atomic rubidium vapor. The generated twin beams are narrowband and are suitable for atomic manipulation.
