A Modern Michelson-Morley Experiment using Optical Resonators

Abstract

Comparing the resonance frequencies of optical resonators continuously rotating on a precision turntable, our modern Michelson-Morley experiment tests Lorentz-Invariance at the ∆c/c = 10−18 level. A hundredfold improvement should be possible in the near future.
