Operational Behavior of an Injection-Locked Quantum-Dash Fabry-Perot Laser at Zero-Detuning

Abstract

The behavior of a zero-detuned injection-locked Quantum-Dash Fabry-Perot laser under varied injected field ratios is investigated theoretically & experimentally. A low slave laser linewidth enhancement factor is found to inhibit chaotic/Period-2 operation.
