Abstract

Single-molecule emitters provide nanoscale light sources yielding unprecedented new information about biological systems. Novel methods and molecules, including superresolution imaging in three dimensions and anti-Brownian electrokinetic trapping of single biomolecules in solution, will be reviewed.
