The transition between superluminal and subluminal for multiple gain-assisted microspheric resonators

Abstract

We investigate the dispersion characteristics of coupled resonator induced transparency and absorption in the microspheres coupled with a fiber taper system. The switch between superluminal and subluminal could be realized by doping the gain.
