Transfer and Storage of Optical Information in a Spinor Bose-Einstein Condensate

Abstract

We demonstrate the transfer, storage and retrieval of optical information in a spinor condensate using a two-photon Raman technique. The stored information is read out by reapplying one of the two Raman beams.
