Generation of Multi-Giga-Watt Isolated Attosecond Pulses

Abstract

We successfully generated multigigawatt isolated attosecond pulses for investigating attosecond nonlinear phenomena in atoms and molecules. Pulse duration of the isolated attosecond pulse was directly measured by autocorrelation method using two-photon double ionization.
