Slow Light Dispersion Engineering of Photonic Crystal Waveguides Using Selective Microfluidic Infiltration

Abstract

We demonstrate, experimentally, slow light dispersion engineering of photonic crystal waveguides using a selective liquid infiltration. We highlight how the amount of fluid infiltrated into the periodic air micropores critically influences the waveguide dispersion.
