Spectral and Time-Resolved Near Infrared (1-2 µm) Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy for Chemical Sensing

Abstract

Results of near-infrared LIBS covering a spectral region from 1-2 µm are presented for applications in chemical sensing. Strong IR emission features were observed from solid-state samples including KCl, NaCl, KClO3, and NaClO3.
