Inductively Coupled Magnetic Ring Trap for Atom Interferometry

Abstract

We have experimentally realized an inductively coupled magnetic ring trap for cold atoms using varying magnetic fields. We are working towards atom interferometry with Bose–Einstein condensates and degenerate Fermi gases in the ring trap.
