Precision metrology and many-body quantum physics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The Sr optical clock has achieved measurement precision of 1 × 10−17 at <1000 s. This unprecedented spectroscopic capability helps characterize collision-related systematic effect below 1 × 10−18, while enabling exploration of many-body quantum dynamics.
