Photoluminescence Enhancement from a Single Nitrogen Vacancy Center in a Nanodiamond Crystal via a Metal Nanoantenna

Abstract

We theoretically investigate the photoluminescence enhancement from a single nitrogen-vacancy center in nanodiamond using 3D metallic nanoantennas. The results allow us to engineer optimal nanoantenna structures for enhancement of the photoluminescence.
