Attosecond Pulses for the Investigation of Electron Dynamics: from Diatomic Molecules to Biomolecules

Abstract

We investigated the ultrafast electron dynamics initiated by attosecond pulses in diatomic molecules and in a biomolecular building block, the amino acid phenylalanine, where a 30-fs charge migration process was measured.
