Polarization and Propagation Behavior of Cylindrical Vector Beams

Abstract

Expressions for cylindrical vector beams, that also satisfy Maxwell equations are derived. Modified description of two cylindrically polarized beams Bessel-Gauss and Laguerre-Gauss are studied and their propagation and polarization properties are investigated.
