Fragmentation Pathways of Molecules Multiply Ionized by Pulses from the LCLS Intense X-ray Laser

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Molecular fragmentation dynamics induced by intense X-ray FEL pulses is studied by examining the kinetic energy of different m/q fragment species from small (e.g. N$_2$) as well as medium size molecules (e.g. SF$_6$)" and clusters.
