Spin Transport in a Unitary Fermi Gas

Abstract

A neutral Fermi gas at a Feshbach resonance is initialized with a magnetization perpendicular to an external magnetic field. The relaxation to equilibrium, observed using magnetization and contact, enable measurement of transverse spin diffusivity in a unitary gas.
