Sub-10 fs DUV Laser Pulses and Their Application to Ultrafast Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We have developed sub-10fs DUV-pulse laser and applied them to study of the mechanism of ultrafast relaxations in DNA bases. Ultrashort decay from S2 to S1 observed is interpreted in terms of the conical intersections.
