Abstract

We propose the fabrication of microresonators which support Whispering Gallery Modes (WGMs) via Two-photon polymerization. The versality of this technique allows the production WGM microresonators with different funcionalities, making them suitable for sensing and lasing applications. So far, we have fabricated polymer hollow microcylinders with 100 nm of sidewall roughness to excite the WGMs using a 1500 nm centered excitation source.
